Tourist information

The city of Molde is located on the western coast of Norway, and is easily accessible by train, ferry, bus, plane and the famous coastal steamer Hurtigruten.

Molde is a natural choice for the conference, due to its majestic scenery and central location in one of Norway’s largest fish-farming counties.

Molde is close to Nofima’s research stations at Sunndalsøra and Averøy, which conference participants will find worth a visit.

The Norwegian fjords have been top rated in National Geographic’s survey of travel destinations several times, and are on UNESCO’s World heritage list.
